Over the past 3 decades she has gained broad exposure across the global legal, regulatory,
investment banking, charity, not for profit, blockchain, AI, robotics and adjacent tech sectors.
Chrissy is an award-winning innovation champion and tackles non-traditional, pioneering
roles. Her experience includes:
- Supporting a visible world leader for almost a decade as the COO and GC;
- Working with a pioneering investor, builder, and strategist on the cybernetic frontier who
co-founded one of the earliest investment firms dedicated to blockchain-based economies,
among the first investors in Ethereum in 2014, co-founded P2P Validator (one of the largest
institutional staking providers) and co-founder of Lido, the world’s leading liquid staking
protocol;
- Steering the leading technical contributor to Polkadot (which was founded by the computer
scientist who coined the term “Web 3.0” in 2014 and a co-founder of Ethereum) through
legal, operational and regulatory challenges in the emerging technology space as Chief
Legal Officer & interim Chief Operating Officer of Parity Technologies;
- Serving as a critical friend on the Advisory Board for two Web3 visionaries founding
businesses focussed on ethical commodities and digital asset business support;
- Setting the standard in the then groundbreaking area of advisory compliance pre-, during
and post- financial crisis by guiding evolving commercial teams (such as FIG, Equities, and
M&A) at Barclays Capital, particularly post-Lehman acquisition; and
- Working as an equity & debt markets lawyer on IPOs (at the time the largest and second
largest IPOs on the LSE) and high-yield debt deals (winning a number of awards for best
bond deals) in developing global markets.
Chrissy has a track record of enabling businesses to transform in a dynamic yet controlled
manner - scaling up and down. She is an empathetic, effective leader and teammate with
experience managing large teams from all support functions (finance, IT, operations, HR,
communications, legal and compliance).
One of her central values is promoting merit, innovation and inclusion. She believes
