Example outcomes of ‘External Projects’ brought into the lab include papers presented to government organisations resulting in significant contracts, deep-tech companies validating their stacks - securing further funding and achieving unicorn status, existing larger companies adding product lines and adding revenue or hiring key staff from the university ecosystem.
